Life at Sandgreen Caravan Park revolves around our beach. You may enjoy swimming, water sports, rock pooling or a family game of rounder’s, the sandy beach provides the perfect, stunning setting for all sorts of activities, adventures and relaxation.
We have an on-site shop where you can order your daily newspaper and buy all your daily essentials (ice cream, ice lollies etc!). The shop is in the main reception building next to the launderette.
About half of our owners own their own boats. The beach is divided into three different sections to enhance the safety and fun of all water enthusiasts. Power boats (including the water skiers and dough-nut riders!) are restricted to operate between the red buoys, dingy and wind surfers between the yellow boys and the remainder of the beach is designated for swimmers. Boats are easily launched in the shallow waters at high tide and on-site winter storage is available.
We have a small but very experienced team to look after you and your holiday home. By providing as much help as we can we aim to make each visit to Sandgreen as hassle free as possible and hope we are always there to assist you.
Sandgreen is owned by Peter and Jane Murray Usher.
Park Manager – Elspeth Sutton
Elspeth joined us in 2002 as a Consultant specialising in Holiday Parks and the Leisure Industry, she has been working in the Industry for 15 years and has experience of operating all types of holiday and residential parks across the UK. In 2005 Elspeth moved back to Scotland with her family and joined us on a full time basis taking responsibility for the overall management of Sandgreen.
Assistant Park Manager – Carole Coyle
Carole joined the Sandgreen team in 2005 when she left Yorkshire Building Society to relocate to Scotland from Yorkshire. Her career has been based around accounts and customer service and she has many years experience of customer service operations. Carole is responsible for the day to day operation of the office at Sandgreen. She is always on hand to answer any queries you may have and has 
recently been awarded an “Excellence in Service” award from the British Holiday & Homes Park Association.
Park Maintenance – Colin Kelly
Colin joined the Sandgreen team in 2008. Prior to working with us he worked with a local builder's firm. Since joining us he has been trained in many different aspects of ground maintenance and health and safety matters. Colin’s main role is to ensure that the Park is well maintained and kept tidy at all times, a job he takes great pride in and as I am sure you will agree, when you visit us, does to a very high standard.
Gas Safety Engineer - Julian Stacey
Julian joined us earlier in the Spring with many years experience of working on holiday parks throughout the Country. Julian will be responsible for completing all gas work as well as plumbing jobs and assisting the maintenance team on a day to day basis.
Reception/Administration - Ashley McTeir
Ashley joined us at the start of the year and already has proven to be an invaluable part of the team. Her friendly face and "can do" attitude will be the first to greet you on your arrival.
Groundsman - Mark Robinson
Mark is our newest recruit and is working for the season to assist in keeping our grounds looking their best.
