What We Are Doing

To Keep our Private Owners Safe

The laundrette is open and tokens can be purchased from reception. The door is worked with a keycode entry system, when you purchase a token you will be given the code.  Sanitiser and paper towels are provided in the laundry for surfaces to be wiped down before you leave.

The outdoor gym and play park are open for use.

UPDATED GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES – 1st May 2022

Track and Trace – Businesses are no longer legally required to collect customer details for contact tracing.

Face Coverings – You are welcome to wear a face covering when visiting our office, however, it is no longer Law that you must.

Local Community - Please show consideration to our local community.  Please be sympathetic towards local concerns and follow the Scottish Government's advice in all contacts outside of Sandgreen.

Feeling Unwell While on Holiday with Us

We hope you enjoy your time with us and remain fit and well throughout, however, if you do start to feel unwell and have or suspect you are having symptoms of COVID-19, please inform reception of this immediately.

If you test positive for COVID while on holiday with us, the current Government Guidance states you should “stay at home” for 3 days if you are 18 years and under, or for 5 days if you are over 18 years.  The way the days are counted are from the day after you tested positive.  If you are in the same holiday home as someone who has tested positive for COVID, if you develop symptoms of COVID or start to feel unwell, you should follow the same guidance as above.

If you start to feel unwell during your stay at Sandgreen, but do not test for COVID, you should “stay at home” and avoid contact with other people until you no longer have a high temperature (if you had one) or until you no longer feel unwell.

Repairs and Holiday Home Maintenance

Any call outs relating to repairs or any other issues in your holiday home will be assessed in the first instance to decide on the level of risk to you, our customer and our member of staff before proceeding with any repairs or visiting your holiday home.

Where possible, any maintenance will be dealt with remotely and virtually using emails, over the telephone and via FaceTime.

If we do need to visit your holiday home to assess an issue, check if parts are required or to complete a repair, all staff members will have full Protective Clothing on whilst visiting your holiday home.

External Contractors

If any external contractors need to come onto the park, we will check to see that the contractor has completed a COVID-19 risk assessment, produced a procedure to work safely and is equipped and trained accordingly.

Waste Management

We have moved all the refuse bins to one central area

All of the Refuse Bins are now located in the Boat Park at the side of the main car park.

Please ensure you dispose of rubbish responsibly and DO NOT put any large items into the bins.  If you are disposing of anything other than household waste, you should remove this from the park and disposed of it in the correct manner.

Sales Stock

All of our stales stock will be listed on our Website and this will include photos, pricing, pitches, etc.  This will be kept up to date.

If you would like to view any of our sales units, viewings will be strictly by appointment only.  Marketing material such as brochures, sales particulars, etc can be sent to you by email.

When viewing, the holiday home will be opened for you and our staff member will stand outside whilst you view the holiday home.  Hand sanitiser will be provided for you to use before entering the unit.

Updates on Government Guidance

Customers will be provided with up-to-date, accurate and timely information on any additions and/or changes to the Government Guidance

Guidance given to customers on what to do if they or a family member start to feel unwell or suspect they have COVID-19.  Customers will alert reception to this immediately.

To Keep our Holiday Hire Guests Safe

Checking In and Checking Out

Guests can check in to accommodation from 3pm onwards.  Prior to guests arriving on park, a full information pack will be emailed to them including a copy of our park rules, emergency phone numbers including the on-site Warden, Health and Safety information.

On arrival, please visit reception to collect the keys to your unit.  If reception is locked, please call our on-site warden on 07749 060735 who will bring your keys to reception for you.

A disposable welcome pack will be left in the accommodation with various information and items for the guest.

Check out is before 10am on the day of departure.  Guests are to bag and remove their own general waste and dispose of this in the park bins prior to departure.  We have moved all the refuse bins to one central area.  All of the Refuse Bins are now located in the Boat Park at the side of the main car park.

General

Due to COVID-19, last year we made the decision to no longer supply towels or bed linen in our hire units to reduce the possibility of transmission. This year, we are offering you the choice to bring your own linen or, for an additional £30, we can supply a full linen pack.

If you cannot reasonably return home at the end of your holiday due to isolating, this will obviously have a knock-on effect to the next bookings in your accommodation unit meaning that we may have to cancel other holiday bookings at short notice.

If we have other empty accommodation that we can move our next bookings into, you will only be charged for the additional nights you stay on the park.

If we are fully booked and do not have any other accommodation to move our next bookings to, you will be charged for any bookings we need to cancel due to your self-isolation.
